Agape House
"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
Matthew 25:40
Agape House is a dream in the making. It will one day be a multi-foster-family home for children in San Antonio, Texas to help alleviate the immense need for foster homes in Bexar County. Our dream is to have a large home where four to five "host families" can live together in order to increase capacity and provide a family environment while preaching the Gospel to children and their families. In Texas, each licensed foster family can care for up to six children. With this model, we will be able to welcome larger sibling sets, keeping them under the same roof.
Founded by Jacob and Delayna Wilkins, Agape House is a registered nonprofit, 501(c)(3). Currently, we are utilizing social media and word-of-mouth to earn donations and grants to be able to purchase land in Bexar County. It may be years until we reach our goal, but God has been faithful to this point and we know that he will not fail because children are close to his heart.
"Agape" is a Greek word used throughout the Bible to describe a pure, willful, sacrificial love that intentionally desires another's highest good. Agape love is unselfish and the highest form of love. It is charity and compassion.
When you become a donor and partner with us in this mission, your donation to Agape House is always tax-deductible.
